Joan is currently blogging for Common Ground Nebraska and Nebraska Soybean Board.

Joan is now a graduate of the LEAD program as a member of LEAD XXVIII. She enjoyed her international travel study seminar in January 2010 through the LEAD program. They traveled to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. You can learn more about the LEAD Program by going to their website lead.unl.edu.

Steve and Joan invite you to learn more about the culture in Peru through their daughter, Emily. Emily is a missionary through Incarnate Word Missionaries and will be spending two years in Chimbote, Peru. You can follow her experiences through her blog emilyruskamp.blogspot.com.

Steve and Joan will be in the Ag Pen Pal Program this year. Their pen pals will be from an elementary school in Lincoln, NE. If you would like to learn about becoming a pen pal you can contact Ellen Hellerich via email at Ellen@nefb.org. This program is sponsored by Nebraska Farm Bureau.
